    My hubby’s a gamer while I could barely finish stage 1 of Nintendo’s Mario game. Raising two kids in this digital stage really made us ponder when would we start introducing them into playing video games and trust me, the question of whether they should or not be introduced to it them. Truth is, there are really some PROS and CONS on both of it. There’s no denying that online games can help with eye and hand coordination. This is clearly one of my weakness. haha..Not that that’s the only way to learn them, but in today’s generation, that probably is the most fun way to do it. Next is having perseverance and focus. Finishing a game really takes patience on oneself to craft that skill. One also needs enough focus to do so. This skills can’t be thought reading books but is needed as a life skill. I guess, it all comes down to the discipline you can instil in your kids/oneself to have that balance.

    Video games won’t cause any severe damage if you are only playing them for short periods of time. You are free to enjoy video games during your leisure time so as to avoid boredom but keep playing different activities to make your daily routine interesting and fun. Play games to get the maximum benefit out of them. Try some educational games too that will help you improve your knowledge and enhance your brain power. Set a limit on how much time you spend playing games each day and don’t go past that
